Track — Food data & estimates Updated: 28 October 2026 Food sources The master catalogue includes 7,793 USDA FoodData Central SR Legacy food records from the April 2018 source release. These are historical reference values, not measurements of your meal or current manufacturer labels. FoodData Central data are public-domain data published under CC0 1.0. Source: U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, FoodData Central, https://fdc.nal.usda.gov. Licence information: https://fdc.nal.usda.gov/api-guide/#licensing. CC0: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/. Every record preserves its FoodData Central ID, original source description, source release, retrieval date and version. A small number of display names are shortened while keeping the preparation state; the original description is retained in provenance. Source and unit mappings are checked automatically. This is not independent laboratory verification of each value. Source nutrient methods can differ; a source-reported value is not necessarily a direct laboratory measurement. Units and unknown values Food and recipe catalogue nutrients use a 100 g edible-weight basis. Calories are kcal; protein, carbohydrate, fat, fibre and sugar are grams; sodium, vitamin C, iron, calcium and potassium are milligrams; vitamin B12 is micrograms. Missing values remain unknown. Source energy values are preserved rather than replaced with a generic macro formula. Do not substitute dry weight for cooked weight or include peels and other inedible material in edible-weight portions. Defined recipes The first three Track formulations are cucumber yogurt bowl, chickpea cucumber salad and banana yogurt bowl. Their ingredient quantities are explicitly defined and their nutrients calculated from versioned USDA foods. These are original formulations, not copied recipes, measured kitchen trials or universal values for Indian dishes. Original Track formulation data is made available under CC0 1.0; this does not license Track branding or software. For these no-cook formulations, final yield is the sum of the edible ingredient weights, assuming nothing is drained or lost. Yogurt composition differs between brands and homemade curd; that match is approximate. Check instructions and assumptions before using a recipe. Add your actual oil, toppings and substitutions. A different recipe needs a separate calculation. AI and other estimates AI suggestions, where enabled, are estimates and must be reviewed. Hidden oils, preparation and portion scale can cause material errors. A source-backed match improves provenance but does not establish that the portion or food match is correct. Estimates must not be used to assess allergen safety or calculate medication doses. Corrections Please send the food name, source ID and correction evidence to gta@styx.studio. Corrections create a new catalogue version; existing diary snapshots retain what you saved. Your personal foods and recipes remain separate from the maintained shared catalogue.
